Skiiiiiiii !

Some pictures from the ski weekend with Flo and Anso who came from Paris, and Cha who came from Lyon, and Selma and Bruno who live in Lausanne ... We went to Diablerets on Saturday, and it was pretty cool !
We got up early, and some did not enjoy the view and the rising sun !

Little Green Laura !

Le grand schtroumpf

Mais, qui est donc derriere nous ?

On the way back

Wait, I've already seen that ? (BTW : Flo, you could hide this finger !)

In the evening we had some wonderful Mont d'Or cheese in the oven, so, so, so good. And for dessert, a chocolate cake and some "meringues" with "crême double", a Swiss specialty.

On Sunday we had a good brunch, and then we went to the Lac de Joux, which is a frozen lake in the Swiss Jura (but still in canton de Vaud, I think). Was nice, though quite cold, especially for those who didn't take the proper shoes ...

The lake

Would you trust that ? (actually, you can !)

Anso and her new friend

It was a very nice weekend - we should do more of these ...

Winter in Versoix

Since last week, Versoix became very famous because of its impressive natural "ice sculptures" ... Apparently, every year it is the same : the combination of very cold weather, wind, the location of Versoix (near the lake and probably in a "wind corridor"), and the fact that people park their car at the wrong place at the wrong moment, gives the result shown on the pictures below. It is quite impressive, and actually, it attracts a lot of people - amateur photographers mainly. If you manage to not loose a foot or a bunch of fingers because of the cold, then it's a nice thing to do ...

Probably most of those living close to Geneva have seen these pictures, as they have circulated on (a-)social networks. Made by professionals, so much better than these !
No more words : I let the pictures speak for themselves ...
